Ultimate Breakfast

Ingredients

General 

Lorne Sausage (If you can’t get access to it regular sausages will work just as well)

Smoked Bacon

White Bread

Hash Browns

Potatoes

Salt

Pepper

Plain(all purpose) Flour Eggs(beaten)

Potato Scones 

Potatoes

Salt

Self-Raising(cake) Flour Butter

Method

Mash Potatoes (for Hash Browns and Potatoes Scones) 

  1. Wash peel, rewash the potatoes then cut into equal sized pieces

  2. Fill a Large Pot with water, add salt then bring to a boil.

  3.  When the water is boiling Add the potatoes and cook for approximately 20 minuets.

​Hash Browns

  1. Beat an egg in a cup.

  2. Grate the potatoes into a cloth then squeeze to get out any moisture.

  3. Transfer the potatoes to a bowl then add the egg, salt and pepper.

  4. Mix that together then add flour until a dough form.

  5. Shallow fry in a frying pan for about 1-2 minuets per side.

Potato Scones

  1. Using a potato masher or a fork mash the potatoes.

  2. Add about 25g of butter, salt and a little pepper.

  3. Mix that together then add self-raising flour until a dough forms.

  4.  Fry in a frying pan for about 1-2 minuets per side.

Everything Else

  1. Place the Sausages onto a baking tray and cook for about 20 minuets (cook time for Lorne sausage only if you are using link sausage check the back of the packet for cook time.)

  2. Heat a griddle pan and cook the bacon for about 5 minuets flipping mid-way (cook time will vary depending on what type of bacon you are using)

  3. Place White bread in a toaster, toast until the desired colour, cut into triangles then serve.
